I'm Matthias, an Assistant Professor in the Strategy & General Management Department at ESADE.

I study how to harness collective wisdom to evaluate and converge on ideas in distributed problem-solving processes. My investigations span various decentralized contexts, including crowdfunding and online deliberation.

Before entering academia, I worked for 8 years in the industry and with strategy consulting firms.

I have a PhD in Management from ESSEC (FR), an MBA from the Adam Smith Business School at the University of Glasgow (UK), and a BSc in Economics from the University of Bolzano (IT). ​
