Welcome!

I'm Matthias, a Ph.D. candidate in Strategy at ESSEC.

My research investigates questions critical to effective crowd collaboration. Specifically, my work seeks to understand mechanisms and interventions that solution seekers can employ to
(1) harness crowd support, and (2) improve crowd decision-making outcomes. To explore these questions, I employ qualitative methods and experiments.

Before entering academia, I gathered seven years of work experience in the consumer goods industry and with strategy and innovation consulting firms. I have an MBA with Distinction (Valedictorian) from the Adam Smith Business School at the University of Glasgow, Scotland, and a B.Sc. in Economics from the University of Bolzano, Italy.
